Her work involves multiple formats, from short films to music videos, and video-essays. Among her most relevant projects there are the music videos "I Want To Go Outside" and "Blurry Faces"; the fashion film "Llagos"; and the short film "Apprehend" (2020), in which she also was co-protagonist, and it has been selected in several international festivals. The short film was produced by Malniu Films, a feminist film collective of which she is co-founder.

Currently, Maria is focused on her artistic career and she i developing diverse fictional projects: the feature films "Soleá" and "Luna en Acuario", and the short films "IBIS" (animation, co-directed with the artist Enric Sant), and "No llores Alma mía". He also collaborates as a scriptwriter and assistant director in external projects.
Maria has also started to take a professional Drama Course at Laura Jou Estudi in October 2022.

After completing her Bachelor of Communication and Cultural Industries at the University of Barcelona in 2019, Maria received a scholarship from the ECIB to study a Master's Degree in Film Production and Distribution directed by the Catalan executive producer Paco Poch. Later, she studied a Postgraduate Degree in Fiction Scriptwriting for Film and TV at the ECIB school in which she developed her first feature film script for the project "SOLEÁ".

She soon began to collaborate with different companies in production, distribution and communication tasks, while she started an artistic career as a director and screenwriter. Among the companies she has worked with there is Screen Projects (Loop Fair 2019 & Talking Galleries 2020), Hamill Industries, and the animation studios Device, Amigo Total and All In Pixel, and the film production company Nanu Films. From 2021 to mid-2022 Maria was in charge of creating and coordinating the new film content department at the animation production company BLISS.
